As we move forward into the future, the services we provide depend upon the regular and steady contributions of all our members, and is appreciated more than we can say. In the near future, we will be setting up efficient and easy means for you to pay dues, make contributions, etc.,
Always remember, this is your Oasis. One day we want you to be able to say it is your Lodge.

Since it’s inception in the early 90’s, being first known as Sekhmet-Uraeus camp, and eventually evolving into what is now known as Blue Equinox Oasis, it has been the founding members dream to one day realize a permanent home and Temple for it’s members here in the Detroit and Tri-county area. To that end, it is our stated purpose and desire to begin the process of achieving this goal.
As mandated by Grand Lodge, any Oasis aspiring to Lodge status, must have a separate Temple/Lodge space, apart from any members home or residence. Hence, a bank account has been established in the Oasis’s name for the collection of donations for the eventual purchase of an already existing building, or land upon which we can build to our desires and specifications.
It is realized that this is an expensive proposition, and will take time, but it is one we feel is well worth the pursuit, despite the financial challenges involved. With the establishment of permanent Lodge and Temple space, Blue Equinox Oasis will have come closer to the eventual goal of Lodge status, and will be better able to serve the Thelemic community at large.
The advantages of this, in our minds, are many and varied. Once achieved, this will give Blue Equinox Oasis the ability to establish and maintain a permanent library, accessible to all initiates, who can continue and maintain their studies in a fraternal atmosphere of mutual support, easing the burden of many who’s finances may not allow for the acquisition of the more expensive, but necessary literature, to further their studies and growth. The Gnostic Mass could be performed to its full glory, once a permanent space dedicated to its performance is created. Celebration of various events and feast days would no longer be dependent upon the resources of any one members home. The list of potential benefits goes on.
Be assured, that any and all funds collected for this specific purpose shall not be spent or disposed of in any way except towards this singular end. And of course, as a Federally recognized religious institution, all contributions and donations are completely tax-deductible. Check with your tax preparer for specifics.
