National Headquarters for the United States: U.S. Grand Lodge, Ordo Templi Orientis
This is the central website for the governing body of the O.T.O. in the United States. This site is recommended as a principal source for learning more about the O.T.O. and our practice and interpretation of the Law of Thelema.
Anyone who is considering initiating into the Order should spend some time on this site, as it will outline the overall structure of the order and the many ways an individual might progress through it. This includes initiation at local bodies, such as Blue Equinox Oasis, as well as information on the Ecclesiastica Gnostica Catholica (E.G.C.) and the A:A.
OTHER BODIES IN THE GREAT LAKES & MIDWEST REGION
In the event that our body may not be closest to you, but you are still in the Great Lakes and/or Midwest region, you should consider making contact with one of our sister bodies. Please note that we have only listed the closest bodies to us, geographically. A full map of the country with all local bodies may be found at the U.S. Grand Lodge website (see above).
Liber AL vel Legis Liber CCXX - Online version of the Order's founding text, generally known as "The Book of the Law." Delivered in the year 1904 to Aleister Crowley, in the city of Cairo, it sets forth the Law of the New Aeon of Horus. A text in Class A according to Grand Lodge, and required reading for all aspirants and members.
Liber XV: The Gnostic Mass - Written in Moscow in 1913, the Gnostic Mass stands as one of the most beautiful and central rituals of the O.T.O. As the only truly public ritual of the Order, it gives an opportunity for all , initiate and non-initiate alike, to experience the mysteries of Thelema. Public performances of the Mass sponsored by Blue Equinox Oasis can be found on the calendar page.
